R&D in the Image Processing Department lead to results with different degrees of maturity and different implementations in software and/or hardware. These can be feasibility studies, demonstrators, prototypes, products, applications or services. All these results can either be used as a basis for further developments, for co-operations, for joint research projects, for bilateral R&D contracts with companies or they are licensed as technologies to third parties. A number of more recent and important results are described here.
