The mission of our group is to carry out not only fundamental research in the field of wireless information systems and statistical signal processing but also bring new directions and key ideas as fast as possible to standards and practice. We are particular active in the field of 3GPP LTE and LTE advanced mobile communication systems where we have contributed fundamental solutions together with our industry partners.

Head of the Group: Slawomir Stanczak
The research of the group is focused on wireless networks: wireless mesh, wireless ad-hoc and wireless sensor networks. We develop protocols and algorithms to organize the communication of wireless networks within physical, MAC and network layer. One of our main aims is to develop algorithms that are amenable to distributed or decentralized implementation. Our competencies lie within the fields of telecommunications, signal processing, applied mathematics and information theory. More...
