Interactive Media - Human Factors IT Protection Profiles

An IT security concept comprises an analysis of a system's security risks, a description of necessary security measures, a remaining risks analysis, lists responsibilities and outlines the implementation of the security measures. Fraunhofer HHI developed such kind of security concepts for mobile citizen services and for a new governmental application for the management of inhabitants' data. Those concepts were brought into agreement with all bodies involved (public administrations, network providers, data protection officers etc.).

The know-how gained in that connection enables the department IM to develop security concepts and protection profiles for other authorities or their IT providers and for other applications and to bring them into agreement with all responsible bodies.
