Interactive Media - Human Factors Real3DLV

Projektbeschreibung

Project Description
Real3DLV aimed at developing an innovative infotainment system for waiting areas of airports.

The system presents information employing stereoscopic 3D technologies that do not rely on special glasses (i.e. "autostereoscopic" displays).

Waiting passengers or people who want to pick up somebody get detailed information about the airport, flights, aircrafts, etc. in the form of computer graphics, animations, or videos. It is also possible to present 3D adverts (e.g. of shops located at the airport).

Users can control the information presentation by means of  touchless man-machine interaction techniques and gestural user interfaces.
