We are always looking for bright graduate students with an open mind and interest in pursuing a PhD in the field of wireless communications. A theoretical and practical understanding of mobile telecommunications is the basis for a cooperation. In addition we put a strong emphasis on the analytical and mathematical treatment of the problems. However, aspects of signal processing, algorithms and questions concerning complexity and feasibility are also of great importance. We expect good oral and written English language skills. Knowledge in German is welcome, but not mandatory.

Student Jobs / Internships

We are always looking for bright students interested in an internship or a student job. We expect:
a completed intermediate diploma ("Vordiplom") in electrical engineering, with focus on wireless communications and communication systems
above-average study achievements
fundamental theoretical and practical understanding of communications
proficiency in mathematics
interest in programming of simulations
knowledge of programming languages Matlab and C/C++
knowledge of ns2 and/or opnet is desirable
social competence and high motivation
