ScaleNet: System- und schichtenübergreifende Steuerung von Zugängen in heterogenen Netzen (HetNet)

In the BMBF project HetNet in ScaleNet, we investigate the flexible integration and control of both wireless and wired access technologies in heterogeneous network environments. We develop efficient access control and resource management algorithms that aim at optimizing the system efficiency while satisfying various user requirements such as Quality of Service (QoS) and user mobility. For this, we study the systems both from a cross-layer and a "cross-system" perspective.
