The annual conference of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI) with its 20,000 members is the meeting place of the computer science scene in the German-speaking region. As part of INFORMATIK 2018, from September 24-28 in Berlin, the German computer science community will discuss the topic “Zukunft der Arbeit – Zukunft der Informatik”. In the dialogue between politics, business and science the event seeks to address the question of how information technology systems and digitization are changing the world of work and what implications this has for computer scientists.
