A research team at Fraunhofer HHI has developed a new technology for the production of black silicon solar cells which doubles their previous efficiency. What's more, their manufacturing process is also much more cost-effective than that of conventional solar cells.

January 2012 – The Interactive Shop Window

The Interactive Shop Window enables passers-by to operate a screen mounted behind a shop window using only simple gestures. All they need to do is point their fingers to rotate digital objects on the screen, zoom in on them or browse the pages of a virtual catalogue.
