The 3DQC project develops advanced tools for automatic and semi-automatic 3D quality control. Based on a regional analysis the image is decomposed into areas of different production methods (i.e. native 3D, 2D to 3D conversion, CG). 2D depth cues as well as classical 3D parameters like rectification parameters and disparity maps are computed and aggregated into a combined 3D quality metric.
The project is conducted in collaboration with Imcube Labs GmbH.
