Rodrigo Diaz joined the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute as a student worker in 2014. Currently, he contributes to the development of software for a real-time distributed 3D reconstruction system. Among the projects that Rodrigo took part are the implementation of a panoramic live-streaming system with multi-channel spatial audio to mobile devices, presented at the IBC and NAB in 2015. He has also contributed to the implementation of panoramic tiled streaming for VR.
Rodrigo received a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Texas Christian University in 2012 and a Master of Arts in Media Art \& Design from Bauhaus University in 2016.
