Biography

Markus Worchel joined the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute in 2017 as a student research assistant and is a research associate since 2019. He received a M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Technical University of Berlin in 2018. He currently works on data-driven and optimization-based approaches for 3D geometry and material reconstruction using implicit neural representations, differentiable rendering and deep neural networks.
