The 11th edition of the Plugfest will take place on November 26 and 27, 2019 at the 3IT at Fraunhofer HHI. The event series is organized by the Deutsche TV-Plattform (DTVP) and the British Digital Television Group (DTG) in close cooperation with the Institut für Rundfunktechnik (IRT).

The scope of the Plugfest covers UHD-HDR-Interoperability-Tests („Speed Dating”) regarding HDMI/HDCP, High Dynamic Range, High Frame Rates and various 4K Content. Another focus lies on HbbTV-HDR-Support of Ultra HD receivers.

The Deutsche TV-Plattform is an association of over 50 private and public broadcaster, streaming provider, equipment manufacturers, infrastructure operators, service and technology provider, research institutes and universities, federal and state authorities as well as other companies, associations and institutions involved in digital media. In the working groups of the Deutsche TV Plattform, representatives from almost all areas of the media industry and consumer electronics are involved in setting the course for key topics in digital broadcasting.
