Actual trends in digital transformation like Internet of Things, Distributed Ledger Technology and the immense potential of Artificial Intelligence will reshape the Internet of the future. For this purpose a conference will be held at Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute on 11th October from 11am to 4pm.

According to the strategy of the European Commission the next generation of internet should be an Internet that is dependable and trustable, creating new usage and new business opportunities in Europe. We will talk about research trends in digital technologies for next generation internet and discuss this also with respect to the transfer of research results into the fields of economics and society.

The objective of this conference is to bring different stakeholders from politics, academia and industry together aiming to actively collaborate creating visions and concrete perspectives for shaping a connected society of the future. This workshop is an initiative of Italy and Germany opening up European perspectives to foster collaboration among European innovation programs and initiatives in ICT.
