Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (HHI) is a world leader in the development of mobile and optical communication networks and systems as well as processing and coding of video signals. Together with international partners from research and industry, Fraunhofer HHI works in the whole spectrum of digital infrastructure – from basic research to the development of prototypes and solutions.

Fraunhofer HHI will participate in HUAWEI CONNECT 2025 in Shanghai with a technical presentation and the F5G OpenLab. The focus will be on 10 Gbps All-Optical Broadband as the foundation for an inclusive AI era, as well as new approaches for vendor-neutral fiber test environments. The OpenLab will also be showcased at the Huawei Booth, located at the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center (SWEECC), Huawei Connect Exhibition Area Hall 2 Enterprise Optical Network Exhibition Island.
