Terahertz Spectroscopy for Precise Material Characterization

Fraunhofer HHI offers the TeraWave Time-Domain Spectrometer, a robust, all-fiber terahertz spectroscopy system designed for both laboratory and field use. Based on mature 1.5 µm telecom technology, it combines turnkey operation, real-time data acquisition, high flexibility, and excellent performance across a broad spectral range. Key applications include high-bandwidth terahertz spectroscopy, industrial process monitoring, and non-contact coating film thickness measurements, enabling precise and reliable material characterization for research and industry.
