What is the Science Tech Space @ HHI?

The Science Tech Space @ HHI consists of two showrooms for the display of digital technologies – from AI to communication networks, sensor technology, and video coding to XR technologies.

We believe digital technologies offer a comprehensive approach to addressing societal challenges effectively. To exchange ideas on digitization, we offer various event formats connecting research, politics, and business in our showrooms.

We host your events

Featuring two large showrooms, the Science Tech Space @ HHI offers 800 square meters of space for events of various kinds. It is located on the ground floor at Lanolinfabrik in Berlin-Charlottenburg and is equipped with state-of-the-art technology.

We host lectures, panels, conferences, workshops, and project meetings.

Our projects

Forum Digital Technologies (FDT)

The FDT  offers a platform for outstanding research projects outside Fraunhofer HHI. This provides an opportunity for the Science Tech Space @ HHI to create new synergies in the research sector.

The FDT is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK).

3IT – Innovation Center for Immersive Imaging Technologies Berlin

The 3IT  is a network of scientific and industry partners developing new technologies for the industrial, medical, and cultural sectors. The focus is on 3D, VR/AR/XR, Volumetric Video, UHD and HDR.

At Science Tech Space @ HHI, we exhibit their latest technologies.

The "6G Research and Innovation Cluster" (6G-RIC)  is a research hub led by Fraunhofer HHI that examines and develops the scientific and technical basis for the next generation of mobile communications (6G).

At Science Tech Space @ HHI, we bring 6G innovations to life and provide a collaboration space for industry partners interested in using the new standard in the future.
