On April 26, 150 consultants from Horváth & Partners devoted themselves to the potentials of artificial intelligence and gained an insight into the technologies of Fraunhofer HHI.
At Fraunhofer HHI, private companies are always welcome to find out more about the latest technologies and innovations that are being developed at the institute. On 26 April, for example, 150 consultants had the opportunity to explore the potential of artificial intelligence. The project manager of the CINIQ Center, Antje Nestler, welcomed the guests and introduced the institute. Afterwards Fabian Westerheide, entrepreneur and investor, and founder of the “Rise of AI” conference, took a look at the status quo of Artificial Intelligence and possible future scenarios based on it. Nils Strodthoff, researcher at Fraunhofer HHI, further elaborated on the topic with a lecture on the interpretability and transparency of Artificial Intelligence. Ahmed Osman, also from Fraunhofer HHI, then initiated the interactive phase and let the audience interview an Artificial Intelligence with questions related to the project "Visual Question Answering" (VQA Demo ).
At the end of the event, the guests had the opportunity to take a look at the Fraunhofer HHI demonstration on the interpretability of AI (LRP demo ), which analyses both age and gender of a person using an image and then facilitates a view into the black box of neural network decisions.
Other companies are cordially invited to visit the Fraunhofer HHI to gain an insight into the latest technologies.
