The Forum Digital Technologies (FDT), networking platform and exhibition space for current developments in the field of digital technologies, launched its new showroom in February 2023. It is located on the ground floor of the Fraunhofer Heinrich-Hertz-Institut (HHI) in Berlin-Charlottenburg. A completely new interior concept showcases various innovation technologies from the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, 3D Printing, Robotics, e-Health, Secure Digital Identities, Smart Living and much more. The FDT's projects are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
The showroom is home to the wide range of events organized by the FDT and its partners. A key focus here is the transfer of knowledge from the technology projects to German SMEs. Targeted networking events and project pitches to multipliers serve this purpose. For example, project kickoffs, annual events, stakeholder meetings, workshops, press conferences, demonstrator presentations and much more are planned. The showroom thus serves to network various players from research, business, industry and politics.
