Realization Concepts for Optimized Car to Car and Car to Infrastructure Communication

The main project goal is the development of transmission schemes for reliable high data rate car-to-car and car-to-infrastructure wireless communication which are more advanced than todays techniques, such as IEEE 802.11p. Vehicular communication systems are intended for different applications in the fields of security, driver assistance, telematics, traffic management and Internet access. To achive this main project goal, investigations of the high mobility wireless radio channel will be performed first. Based on these results, optimized transmission schemes will be developed, simulated and evaluated experimentally.
