Mac and Network aspects of programmable multi-standard platforms
Within the project McNet the HHI will develop and demonstrate key components of programmable baseband platforms for the multi-standard operation of terminals and base stations. Emphasis is taken on decentralised scheduling with multi-antenna techniques.
The main goals are:
- Development of a feasible functional model of decentralised scheduling
- Exemplary implementation of selected scheduling functionalities on a real-time hardware platform
The project McNet is part of the collaborative project MxMobile funded in part by the German Ministry of Research and Education (BMBF).
