Biography
Serden Eranil earned his B.Sc. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2022 and his M.Sc. in Communications Engineering from the Technical University of Munich in 2025. Alongside his studies, he worked for two years at Rohde & Schwarz as a 5G software developer. In 2025, he joined Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute (HHI), Berlin, as a Research Associate in the Multimedia Communications Group.
His work focuses on AI/ML-enabled techniques for wireless communications, with particular emphasis on channel estimation, CSI compression, and Non-Terrestrial Networks (NTN). He also contributes to 3GPP standardization activities in RAN1 and RAN2.
